    I do like Rock Band 3, however some of the songs are not appropriate for my kids to be singing. So that means my kids can only use the keyboard for a few songs.

    I originally bought this due to the fact that my daughter wanted to learn keyboards. After a little research I determined that the Rock Band 3 keytar was usable as a MIDI controller, and that actual game interface did not matter, so I bought the cheapest one. Due to some driver issues, if you try to use the wireless interface to a PC, it will LAG very badly. And while it might be usable if all your doing is using it to enter sequences, your much better getting a MIDI to USB cable. Which I did and now it works right.

    The keyboard has a good quality feel to it. The MIDI features are useful, I suppose, but I doubt Ill ever use them.

    Awesome deal. I dont play the game but I am a musician. This is cheapest, velocity sensitive, midi keyboard you will ever find. On top of that it runs on batteries. I do electronic music and I needed a small, simple, battery powered midi controller to play one of my synths with. This works perfectly. $20 bucks and free shipping, its a no brainer.

    Followed the super weak instructions, did everything I could find on various forums and help sites to get this unit to sync with the dongle. NOTHING worked. It just flashes. I spent a good 4 hours working on this, even turning on All Instrument mode which made no difference. Why would a device be so difficult to set up? Should be able to plug it in, and... it works! Do some research, there is very little good about this device out there, and almost zero help if any issues are experienced.

    Nothing outstanding, but it feels solid and works just fine. It seems to disconnect from my Wii every now and again but its a quick fix to hit the button again and it reconnects instantly.
