> 3 dayThe disk arrives in a thin box which also contains a card with the serial/registration number. Nothing else. No documentation. The in-program documentation is poor and the support from Corel is all offshore and VERY POOR both in accessibility and content. The software works OK once you have figured it out by (extensive) trial and error. I still have an issue (naming/labelling DVD chapters) that I havent solved. NO help from support.

> 3 dayThe software does appear that it will do what it is designed to do, make DVDs. I had hoped with the rip feature that I would be able to convert my DVDs in to a digital format for safe keeping on my NAS. Sadly it does not work for that. You can not copy or archive any commercial disk, sound, music or data. It will also block you if a video disk is protected in any way. I tried to make an updated memories DVD based off of one I had made nearly 20 years ago using Windows Movie Maker but because I apparently protected my original disk I cant do anything with it using this software. After loading the software you will instantly regret it. This forces advertisements constantly just like the old shareware did. The major difference between this and shareware is that you are now paying to have things you dont want advertised to you instead of getting it free. User interface is clean and simple to use/understand and if it wasnt for all the built in blocks and restrictions this could be very powerful software. Unfortunately the days of all computers having any kind of optical drive is gone and so are the days of DVDs. I cannot recommend this to anyone. With a little extra work there are plenty of free programs that will do the same thing and better than Roxio without the constant processor and memory sucking popup ads.

> 3 dayGood update from Easy CD Creator, here is a quote from the listing Complete Multimedia Suite: 20+ applications to burn, copy and encrypt your data, capture and edit video, audio and photo, record screen, author DVDs, convert and share files, and more. Does not work with copyrighted material such as ripping CDs and DVD.

> 3 dayRoxio Creator NXT Pro 8 | Complete CD/DVD Burning and Creativity Suite is a perfect software. Ive used Roxio Creator for years and each upgrade gets better than the one before. When you do a lot of video and photograph manipulation, this is the product for you. Its all in one.

> 3 dayIm using this just to make DVDs and CDs Downloading music is fine, but sometimes you want a CD. We record things we are performing so I wanted a CD burner. This is a lot more, Highlight reel feature, audio editing, Has a new interface that has been redesigned. Included PainShop Pro 2020 and PhotoMirage. Fancy encryption tools as well. As usual, Corel offers less expensive software, with a lot of extras, so if you can get used to a new interface, despite having standardized on other software, you might find a lot of value in this package.

> 3 dayRoxio Creator NXT Pro 8 performs well when it works, but post-purchase technical support is non-existent. After waiting almost a week for a response from the Roxio (Corel) technical support team to address my support request, I had to come up with my own solution which I will pass along as a public service. If the software is installed onto a laptop and abruptly crashes (shuts back down) after attempting to open up the program, try turning off the Wi-Fi connection to use the program. This was the answer for my HP ZBook 17 G6 Mobile Workstation. To run the program, turn off the Wi-Fi to open up, and then turn the Wi-Fi back on once Roxio is loaded. To install program updates, turn off Wi-Fi, open up Roxio, turn Wi-Fi back on, download and install updates. Pretty bad when a company will not support its own products. Hope others will benefit from this...

Greater than one weekIf you are unfortunate enough to get this product installed on your computer it is likely that you will regret it almost immediately. It is the Facebook of software, constantly popping up ads to try and get you to buy more things that you do not need. After the third time in less than an hour that a popup sale appeared I removed it completely from my computer. Roxio used to be a solid brand. That was more than ten years ago. Times have changed. Avoid this product like the plague unless you enjoyed being constantly prompted to buy things you do not need and probably do not even want.
