> 24 hourI used this hub for a couple of days on a desktop Windows PC to connect 2 external HDDs (WD). My routine is to put the machine in hibernation when I go to sleep and wake it up next morning. When waking up from hibernation, the disks were disconnected. I found out that only after unplugging the hub from the computer USB3 port and plugging it back the disks connection was restored. However, the OS put out a scary warning about lost data (a write to the NTFS MFT). It is the hubs problem, as everything wakes up alright when plugged directly to the computer USB3 ports. Problem can be serious with disks, as hibernation doesnt necessarily flush delayed-write buffers and, if the HDD is disconnected without completing these, this can corrupt the file system. This, eventually, WILL happen. That is bad news... especially with large HDDs (mine are 10TB). If you insist on using this hub, beware: unmount the drive (Safely Remove Hardware) before hibernating. For me this is a no-go because of my work habits: I definitely insist on leaving the HDDs plugged and working. This is precisely why I hibernate the PC. So that I am returning the hub. Unfortunately, every single hub I see online has some significant number of 1-star reviews...

> 24 hourWorked well enough for a while but recently I’ve had more and more problems with the items connected to it. Some of the lights that indicate which port is powered/on have stopped lighting up, and one of the ports has stopped working altogether. I’ve tried plugging in a variety of different items with different cords, and none of them register. Will replace with a different brand.

> 24 hourI dont know about long-term durability as Ive had this USB hub only a week or so, but so far it does exactly what I want. I like that I can turn devices off by using the push buttons rather than unplugging them and the leds made me realize that my laptop was supplying power to devices even when it was off and not plugged in and the usb hub was unplugged. So I do need to unplug the usb hub after powering off the computer to prevent battery drain.

> 24 hourOut of the four tested different versions, this has proven the better, with my hardware. Hard Drive compatibility still seems to depend on your particular chipset. I give up.

> 24 hourIve been using this USB hub for the occasional times that I work in my bedroom. It gets used a couple of times per month max. After 6 months and a couple of days, I plugged it in today to find that none of the ports were working and only 2 of the lights next to the ports were lit even though all four ports had something plugged in and were turned on. Ive contacted the seller in the hopes that they will make good on the warranty. Ill update this review according to how they respond.

> 24 hourI actually really liked this device! Not a bad hub! I wish I wouldve gotten a hub with more ports but this one definitely works. I have had no issues with this device as of yet.
