> 3 dayWell, it didnt really save us from a remodel, but it certainly lets us avoid it for a few years. The house is 25 years old and the original Kohler ceramic 2-basin sink was driving us nuts. The finish was hazy, the undersides of the rim were rusting (dont ask me how), there were several old (bad) applications of silicone caulk around the edges, the disposal was on the prep sink side, forcing us to constantly manage a strainer on the larger basin side, the larger basin was too small to hold large pans, and we were constantly breaking dishes on the basin divider as wed move to put them in the dishwasher. After months of looking and thinking wed replace the sink as part of a remodel, I decided I wasnt willing to wait that long. I researched several brands and retailers (including local brick & mortar) and decided to go with this unit from Ruvati (thanks Amazon for your wonderful review system). We chose it for the heavier gauge stainless, the low profile rim, the large single basin, the 4-hole design, and the 5-star rating. Everything came as described. Packaging is great, with the sink being enveloped in a large fabric protector. Instructions are simple and straight forward. We love the new look and the sink works great for daily use. Weve lived with it a week and have no remorse. It even makes our tile counters look not-so-bad. And theres this cool and ever-so subtle V on the bank sink wall under the Ruvati logo that you only see when you glance across the sink. Its hard to describe, but we like it. All in, were liking our kitchen a lot more and dont feel quite so compelled to immediately invest in a remodel. Amazing what a difference a well designed sink can make... I installed the sink last weekend. Its really a 2-person job, but I managed it alone. My install took the whole weekend, but 80% of that was dealing with my specific kitchen conditions. If it had been a simple remove and replace, it could have been done in 2-3 hours. In my case, I had to remove and cut down a few pieces of tile from the counter widen the sink opening a half inch and make room for the Ruvati. I took the opportunity to replace two old cracked tiles next to the sink, then ground down all the grout on the adjacent counter, applied new grout, and sealed before installing. Tips for install: tape the mounting hardware to the basin before setting, to keep it out of the way while dropping into the hole. And figure out where your disposal and drain outlet will line up. I switched from a 2-basin and the new disposal location was right where the drain pipe came out of the wall. That added a trip to Home Depot and 3 hours to the job. We replaced the garbage disposal flange and gasket, but kept the old disposal. Looks new from the topside, still works great, and avoided a $200 upgrade. You can avoid all those things by hiring the job out, but I figure I saved $500 doing it myself.

> 3 dayI was concerned that I would not like this sink because of my prior experiences with stainless sinks: typically noisy, hard to keep clean and not very big. I gave up a triple bowl porcelain sink with my kitchen remodel and I loved the versatility. THIS sink changed all that for me. I love it. Its big, deep and the lines and angles look great in my kitchen. As others have stated, it arrives beautifully packaged - Im using the box it came in to store quilts! Large trays fit well, theres plenty of room to fill big pots, drain big pots and room for a dish drainer and dishpan if you want to hand wash. Why four stars? As others pointed out, the angle is a bit flat to rinse crumbs and food bits into the drain; it ends up using more water than Id like to get everything into the drain. Also, the included drain cover doesnt work with a disposal; Ruvati needs to address that. Its quiet, too, partly because of the included rack, which I love. This sink was a marvelous find for the price, I hope I continue to love it for years to come.

14-06-2025This sink is a beauty. Its large which fits cookie sheets, pots and pans. You can easily put a washing bin on one side and still be able to rinse dishes. Similar to the other reviewers it can be a bear to clean. Simply using the sprayer to rinse food bits down doesnt always work and I noticed some build up in the corners. If youre a neat freak this may not be the sink for you. We really like it and just need to double check after rinsing dishes that all the debris is in the strainer.

Greater than one weekThe sink is remarkable. Before viewing this sink, I had no idea that a sink could ever be described as stylish. This one is (-: Its also very functional as its 10 depth prevents water splashing back onto the mirrored splashback each time the faucet is turned on which is what was happening with the previous sink. I thought that I was going to toss the bottom grid into the trash as I couldnt imagine a use for it. But I rarely ever take it out as the sink can be cleaned with the pull-out faucet (a pull-out faucet is necessary if you plan to install this sink or keeping it clean and free of debris would be a hassle). I had to drill a 5th hole as wanted to accomodate a single-hole faucet, a dishwasher airgap, a garbage disposer air switch, a soap dispenser, as well as a smaller faucet for drinking water from the under-sink water filtration system. I used a stepped drill bit which made that task much easier. I never received a template and customer service never responded to phone or email messages so I took the cutout measurements given here by a Ruvatti eemployee and used those to cut out a larger hole in my granite sink. These measurements were wrong and I struggled to get the sink into the cutout space and had to re-cut 3/4 off 3 sides to accomplish this. Awkward and damaged the granite. Aside from this installation problem and one caused by the fact that my sink base cabinet was 3 too narrow and I had to cut out the side of it and put in position a new cabinet side to support the granite overhead, reduce the size of a drawer and a cabinet door. All worth it to have this sink now in place!

Greater than one weekSo glad I forked over the extra money to buy this unit over some lesser products! It arrived unharmed, shipped very securely in its protective packaging. The darn box was built better than the sink I was going to use before I found this one. Very heavy gauge stainless steel construction and excellent sound damping. It is an absolute jewel that Im sure will provide many years of service in my home. Thanks!

> 3 dayBest decision ever! Giant sink, easy to clean (assuming you clean your sink regularly, as I cannot comment on how easy it is to get goo out of the corners if you leave it until filthy). I say that because I was worried about the zero radius corners, reading all sorts of nonsense online about using q-tips and other nonsense. Not a problem- no q-tips used here! It’s installed in a 36 inch corner cabinet. Fitted our old Insinkerator, and the four holes allowed for our RO filter faucet, dishwasher air-gap, soap dispenser and faucet. We used the Forius faucet, which has a lot of pressure to reach all sides/edges. We are going to add a reducer to bring the gpm to 1.5 to the faucet shortly, because it’s too much spray in the spray mode and we are in California, which requires a lower gpm. One thing though- It was harder to clean before we used Gel Gloss kitchen and bath polish (available at many hardware stores in their cleaning section). It smooths down the ridges in the stainless, fills the pore and helps the water bead and run down in the almost flat bottom of the sink. It’s the kitchen safe version of Rainx. The flatness of a zero radius sink bottom is the other reason to have a more forceful spray on the faucet. After a few weeks of using the polish, the sink is smoother and easier to clean. The edges of this drop-in sink are raised, but wipe down easily. I like the raised edges better because I can manage how wet the caulking gets and reduce mold formation. Every undermount sink has black mold in the caulking and it’s difficult to replace the caulking when that happens a few years down the road. This sink sealed well to our Corian countertop and only required a thin layer of clear caulk to seal well. Installation is okay- there are clips all around the sink. The back has stabilizing pieces that will require a little fussing to get it to sit flush all around. It is very secure and sufficiently insulated that it is not loud and clanging when you move things around. The rack helped that too and to reduce scratches. It looks better (fewer scratches, and easier to clean) than our friend’s much more expensive sink with all the attachments. We use a silicone rack sometimes, but do not miss the integrated items from using her sink. We have had ours for a few months now, and it has been an amazing change from our too tight enameled cast iron sink that stained every time we put a pot in it. It’s so big that I do not mind washing dishes in the sink! Best sink I have ever had/used.

> 3 dayWe are DIYers and wanted a sink that was both modern and easy to install. We leaned toward undermounts, but because we have wood countertops and lack of experience, we were afraid of messing up both the cut and eventually the wood itself with water damage. we decided this square, single basin, clean-lined sink was the perfect compromise. It was tightly packaged and arrived without issue. Instructions were clear on how to install, and the cutting guide was especially helpful. Some things to be aware of: there is about a quarter inch raised edge around the sink, so it’s not flush with the counter. Not a problem for us, but could be for others. Cleaning the 90 degree corners is a new routine that I’m willing to adjust to since I love the square shape, but it could be annoying. The sink came with a removable protective grate that sits in the bottom, keeping dishes from scratching but also catches food particles and needs regular scrubbing. We love it and wouldn’t trade it for our old one!

> 3 dayBeautiful Sink, it arrived exactly as described and fit perfectly in my counter. Packaging was really good, protected the sink from any possible damage and product is very high quality and look great in my kitchen. I had to cut out a oversized corian sink that had cracked and this was the perfect replacement. It is quite large and exactly what the wife wanted. The steel is thicker than most sinks and quieter. I have had it in for a couple months and it is holding up well. The sink gets used heavily and comes with a terrific drain with a deep strainer that holds all the scraps. I would highly recommend this sink, just make sure you measure as it is quite large and exact to the measurements listed.
