> 3 dayThis thing is pretty cool. Buy some 9x11, divide into 4, cut and put all 4 on. When one gets worn out, rip it off and u have a fresh one. Its solid as heck and really does grip. I live in the hood in chicago, this is a real review Im not getting paid for it. Buy one, u wont regret it.

> 3 dayI am into fine wood-working. I dont do a lot of sanding when building furniture, but when I do, I need a tool that performs. Best sanding block I have ever used. Very easy to load. Holds paper securely with no slack or slip. Very little paper is wasted (this feature alone will allow this thing to pay for itself after a couple boxes of paper). The sole of the block is nice and flat; no remedial work needed. If you are sanding a very flat surface, you will get complete contact with little tendency to dish or cup the surface. The rubber pad is just about stiff enough for most flat-work. I have not tried it on curved work yet. My guess is that because it is so stiff, probably best used on flat work. update: the surface of this block is about as hard as typical 3M block. But because the molded base is very rigid, the block will not conform to irregularities in surface you are sanding. So you need to properly flatten what you are sanding first. Being careful to not skip grits too much will help (80 or 120 first then 150, 220, etc) Excellent grip for large or small hands. Nice hefty feel to it (substantially built). I bought two for me and one for my brother.

> 3 dayQuite pricey for what it is. Easy to clamp paper and holds very well. Surface can become slippery when sawdust or powder gets on it but I roughed it up using 80 grit sandpaper. It works so well and uses quality material so it gets 5 stars.

> 3 dayJust buy this sander. This is the best cut paper sander I have used and I have tried five or six. Bought another when I bought this. This is the best. Holds a quarter sheet very firmly and makes full contact with the platen. Heavy, solid feel with a great grip.

> 3 dayNot much to say about a sanding block, but what I can say is that it is the most ergonomic and comfortable to use sanding block of any I have tried, especially when compared to my handmade ones...

> 3 dayI keep four of these handy with 4 different grits. They are ready to grab and put to use. Fit my hand well. Would like to have a smaller size available for tighter places, perhaps half the width and half the length but the same design.
