The transfer speed is close to what the company claims. As the name suggests the drive is extremely portable. No problems in different OS platforms (Windows and Mac OS). But by default, the drive is incompatible with Ubuntu.

Good experience this product

We have 2 MacBook Pros and I copy our data to a backup disk periodically to keep offsite at our daughters home. With older portable HDD, it could take hours, now it takes minutes. If you bother to read the instructions, it says you should download the drivers. I called tech support and there are no drivers, it is plug and play. When the prices drop on the 2 TB, I plan to purchase them for the Mac TimeMachine backup. I much prefer them over the bulkier, slower HDD equivalents.

Natürlich habe ich die Maße vor dem Kauf gelesen, aber als ich die Festplatte dann vor mir liegen sah, war ich doch überrascht wie klein sie ist. Ich habe deshalb hier Fotos von der Festplatte hochgeladen zusammen mit einer Zpndholzschachtel, Leuchtstiften und einem Maßband zum Größenvergleich, um zu zeigen wie klein und kompakt die ssd ist. Auf den Produktfotos wirkte sie für mich nämlich größer.

I plugged it in to my Mac. Decided NOT to reformat to MacOS Journaled File system and instead used ExDOS. copied over 200GB to it in a short period of time and .... then I spot checked my files. EVERY THING WORKED! Every file was readable and every video that I checked was viewable. It was fast and responsive. PERFECT
