Greater than one weekI bought two five-packs for handing out copies of some pictures. They recorded the images and were delivered at a great price. How could I have done any better? I cannot testify if they will work reliably for thousands of read/writes or USB insertions. That was not my need or experience.

> 3 dayDownloaded some movies on a couple of these. Dont forget to format them properly before loading them with data. Received 5 of these but only 2 lanyards. I have purchased smaller versions in the past.

> 3 dayJust what I needed. I use them for gift videos. Probably not good for rough use.

> 3 dayThey are a great bargain and work perfectly but they are just a little too small in my opinion. The size make its difficult to pull out of a laptop sometimes.

> 3 dayFor years I have used USB thumb drives from many different manufacturers. All have been fine - - except this product. This product is totally unsatisfactory for two reasons: 1- The first one I tried to use, when plugged in indicated: (a) this drive requires formatting, then (b) upon attempting to format indicated that it had 64MB capacity [yes, 64MB, not 8GB], then (c) this drive cannot be formatted. 2- Unlike all other drives Ive purchased before, these drives have no caps. Unless you carefully keep them in something like a ziploc bag they can accumulate abrasive debris and damage your USB port when you plug it in. All five drives are going into the trash. Its hard to believe all of the 5 star reviews are genuine.

> 3 dayGreat low-cost way to ship software for new computers that do not have a CD drive.

> 3 daygood value if you don not need speed - these are USB 2.0 and are slower than a turtle stampeding through peanut butter. But for the occasional transfer of small files to to carry files to Kinkos for printing, they are OK. If you need speedy downloads, buy 3.0 drives.

> 3 dayWhats not to love about a thumb drive that is so small it takes up almost no room. I like the little 8G size as it is just perfect to store a copy of the download of the latest OS. Im a Mac user and I want to have a bootable wee drive for each OS that has come out since I bought my machine. They seem to vanish from the App Store after a while. I can label one of these and put it into a little plastic bag and toss that into the file box that holds everything installable for my iMac.

Greater than one weekVery usual to have around. Literally throwing them at people if you need to transfer something quickly. I also use them to hold OSX versions for installs on different machines.
