> 3 dayDoesn’t feel like it will hold up well. Sliding in and out is also very 2007.

> 3 dayMore gbs missing than normal for a new drive. But it very annoying that it won’t always connect to what you plug it into on first try. Have to insert multiple times - very annoying!!!

> 3 day256G is just about right for me. I have NEVER had a bad or corrupted Sandisc product! I have been using this Flashdrive for saving a copy of my photos... fast & easy to transfer files from my camera for vacations or work or whatever. Also easy to carry with you anywhere you need to go.

> 3 dayVery satisfied with this purchase after shopping quite some time. It comes in a retail blister pack like you would find in a store, which I believe attests to it being genuine. This is recognized as 231GB, not 256GB, but there is a standard technical reason for this, but thats not what this is about. Just know that relative to its size, the difference is the same as other similar devices. Before formatted (which is recommended), it shows an exe file (and 2 others) and it just takes you to a PDF website that shows a table of contents in a million languages, but doesnt have the rest of what the table refers to. Ignore any files that come on it. Anyway, I just formatted it and those files disappeared. Shipping was remarkable, since it said it could take 6 days, but was delivered in only 2.

Greater than one weekI have a lonovo think pad that had only a small hard drive, bur has a port for a micro sd card. I have a 256 GB micro card in the slot--so I can back up the whole thing to the 256 GB USB flash drive. It takes a while, but about once a month backups give me peace of mind. I use smaller flash drives more often to back up work accomplished between the full backups.

Greater than one weekThis is nothing like the old Cruzer slide-out flash drives. Its much flimsier feeling in every way. Its also very slow to write to, which is aggravating if you are trying to fill up the full capacity. However, its pretty cheap for the size. If you just plan on occasionally adding files to it, or filling it up only once, then it seems acceptable. If you are planning on moving stuff around with it often, Id recommend something else. USB SSDs are getting a lot cheaper (maybe 2x the price of this), and are probably an order of magnitude faster, albeit usually a bit bulkier.
