> 3 dayI thought these would be helpful for locations where I need two smart outlets on a single plug. They’re great when they work, but they seem to lose the network connection all the time. I’m going to have to replace them with something else.

> 3 dayDoes what its supposed to. Setup was crazy easy: download app, point camera at QR code, name it. Thats it! Seemed to inherit all necessary wifi info from my iPhone. Havent touched Satechi app since; showed up in the Home app automatically and reliably responds to Siri commands. Cons: (1) Bulky design extends from wall about as far as a 30 W apple charger, and is as wide as a standard outlet plate is tall. ...in two years, this will probably look like a relic, but it does its job today. (2) Makes a seriously loud click when toggling outlet power on/off. Perhaps thats a sign of a sturdy relay inside, but certainly detracts from the futuristic function of the device. That said, with active coupon for 25% off the current price ($59...same as the pre-order deal I got on the first one :-/ ) I might just get another for the office.

Greater than one weekIts nice to have two independently controllable smart outlets in a relatively small package. (This product is wide but not tall, so it leaves either the top or bottom outlet free, on a standard 2-outlet receptacle.) Power usage isnt reported separately for each outlet, which, while typical for multi-outlet products, is still disappointing. Id like to know the power consumption of each device I plug in, not total power consumption for the pair. As other people have mentioned, network disconnections do occur, and this requires reconfiguring the product in the Satechi app (terrible) or in Apples Home app.

> 3 dayThis is the future of smart plugs. The system hosts two independently controllable plugs in a very small footprint. Why no one thought of this sooner is beyond me. I’m also very happy with the HomeKit compatibility.

14-06-2025There’s a lot of smart plug options out there, but this ones well worth it. Had no issues setting it up and is working perfectly so far. Priced a little higher than others out there but adds an extra outlet that can be controlled individually and it monitors energy use in real time.

> 3 dayIve been waiting for a decent priced smart outlet for a couple of appliance we have. If youre planning on purchasing this make sure that you create a 2nd SSID on your wifi network with just 2.4ghz enabled. I had trouble trying to configure it through my normal SSID with 2.4ghz and 5ghz turned on. It simply did not work, Works flawlessly once I created a 2.4 only network! Learn from my struggles!

> 3 dayI’ve looked for many HomeKit capable outlets in the past and was always disappointed by the drawbacks that many of them had. I had stumbled across this one and couldn’t be more impressed by the ease of use during setup and usage and the fact that it didn’t obstruct the other outlet. The second outlet was a huge bonus! Great work Satechi!

> 3 dayCompared to the Bluetooth eve units I have, the on-off response is nearly instantaneous. Easy setup.
