Fits perfectly snug and I have bigger hands so I had issues with trying to play the switch for a while and having to adjust my hands all the time. This accessory was a great purchase for me.

I bought this back when it was $24, and I thought that was a bit expensive but probably worth it. Well I recently upgraded to a Switch OLED and looked to get another grip since it was a solid product. However, I saw the price at $45. Needless to say, this is a disgusting business practice to charge $45-55 for a piece of plastic and I hope you never sell anymore products. I sure wont be buying any.

I was waiting for this to come out for a while and was glad that I got it the same week that Diablo 3 came out on the Switch. Once you use it you wont be able to game without it. Having larger hands this grip is makes long playing times possible without cramping up or numbness. The asymmetric design is what makes this grip stand out from the rest and it also make the Switch more rigid. I highly recommend this to anyone who plays the Switch in hand held mode. I like it so much that I just pre-ordered the Limited Edition Holiday Bundle from the Satisfye WebSite which is an awesome red and black grip that looks like it was made for Diablo and a slim case and a few other items. The company is also very good when it comes to updating you on your order status. My ordered was delayed due to bad weather and I was receiving emails to keep me up to date. I have had my eye on this for a long time. The YouTube channel “BeatUmUps” always uses them and recommends them. I usually experience carpal tunnel like symptoms after I use the switch in handheld. I am over 6 feet tall and have big hands. I used to almost never play in handheld because of this reason. Recently I have not had the option to play in docked mode so I’ve been playing in handheld. I remembered this grip and decided to buy one. It’s really good. It makes the switch feel like a console instead in a tablet. It has cut down on my carpal tunnel symptoms. About the thumb pads… I see these more as a bonus so I didn’t really care how good they were. Some reviews say they mess up the range of motion in the joy-con. This is not correct. The package comes with instructions on how to recalibrate the joy sticks range when the pads are on. One thing to note is that they seem to not work with every joy-con. If you have a joy-con with really bad drift, it will be hard to calibrate it with the thumb pad. Otherwise I was surprised how good the thumb pads were. Since they raise the hight of the stick it gives you more leverage when moving the joy stick. This is really good for games with aiming like Fortnite. I put a thumb pad on the right stick. Only the right stick is used for aiming. In the case of Fortnite, I only need it on the right side. Will this help with hand cramps / carpal tunnel? Yes Will this help you in a competitive game? I’d say yes Here’s why It gives you a more consistent grip. Because of the rubber on the back you don’t have to constantly wipe sweat off your palms. If you calibrate the included thumb pads, they will make it easier to aim if you are playing a shooting game. In all, this is good for both casual games like Animal Crossing and competitive games like Fortnite. If you are going to play competitive games on handheld, this is a must buy. If you have hand cramps or carpal tunnel, this is a must buy.
