> 24 hourGiven the lack of a real shade, be sure and use a low wattage bulb or one that can be dimmed by use of an external dimmer, otherwise too much glare. I am ordering a 25w traditional filament Edison bulb and maybe an inline dimmer.

> 24 hourOoh, its satisfyingly heavy, straight out of the old factory. Nothing plastic or flimsy to be found, just solid, well-machined metal. An especially great touch is the braided cord with the antique-style plug. I cant wait to show it to friends.
