> 3 dayI was a little hesitant at the price but then it is a Savanelli and they are fantastic smoking and beautifully made. It takes a while to break it in and you cant rush it. Be patient! It will be a freind for life.

> 3 dayA great smoking pipe but when I went to clean it after a couple of bowls, the balsa filter appears to have caught fire and melted the insert tip of the stem? I inserted the adapter as it came with no extra filters due to supply issues and they recommended the charcoal filters. But didn’t include one to try. I think for a $140 they can do better? I also had to wax the insert part of the stem because it was a bit loose. It was cool when I went to clean it.

Furthering the theme, the Italian marque pairs each briar with an acrylic cap to match the stem.
