> 24 hourIt is so nice to not need to run to the fabric store for another needle. There are 100 needles of the right size in my sewing supply drawer! I have set a system where each 8 (or so) hours of sewing I change the needle. It is better for my sewing, It is better for my machine, It is MUCH better for my patience. I highly recommend Schmetz. I highly recommend having more than a few sewing needles of the right size available all the time. I sew on a Singer. It likes Schmetz too.
