Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches

Good quality...works well.

These pouches work great in my very old laminator. When a paper is laminated, these pouches do not wrinkle or bubble up. I only buy this brand of pouches.

I have a Swingline Thermal Laminator that works great. I purchased the Scotch Thermal 4x6 laminating pouches to laminate family photos. Unfortunately, when laminating my photos, I noticed a rather sizable space around the edges of the photo that did not adhere together. It looks like an air bubble around the photo. Separately, I also bought pouches from Apache (a brand Ive never heard of but found good prices on Amazon) and did not have this issue at all. Ive uploaded a couple of photos for comparison. The first photo is a close up of a Scotch pouch that has gone through the laminator twice. The second photo is a comparison of the Apache pouch (left) and the Scotch pouch (right). You can see that the Scotch pouch has a much larger space around the edge of the photo. This is disappointing as I would have assumed that the Scotch brand would have had better quality. I used 16 pouches and they all came out the same. I will not purchase this item again.

I have been able to save many records with this product.

I have learned it pays to stick with a well known brand when purchasing this type of item. I have a Scotch laminating machine and feel staying to the brand is the best choice. I rate as 5 stars because I have never had a problem.

Im happy I bought this item. I also love that its electric and the supplies are affordable. I was able to laminate some letters that I wanted to treasure and keep in the shape theyre in now.
