09-06-2025I bought this light weight compressor in 2015 to use with my finish nailer (pinner). I have been pleased with its easy portability and light weight, yet effective support for the finish nailer. Just recently, I pressed it into service to supply my 21-degree framing nailer when my much heavier pancake compressor died. I was pleased, and a bit surprised, to find that it adequately supports the framing nailer as well, so long as I am engaged in tasks that require some intermittent measuring and cutting, like building a wall, and not just straight nailing. I enjoy the convenience of being able to easily carry this Senco from room to room rather than being required to snake a long compressor hose from a much larger, heavy compressor that is not realistically portable. I had initially planned to buy a new pancake compressor for the framing nailer, but this unit has performed so well with the framing nailer, I have decided I can get along without a pancake compressor after all. Overall, I am quite pleased with the bang I am getting for the bucks I spent on my Senco PC1010.

> 3 dayYes, it is low volume. But, that is exactly what it is advertised to be. For what it is, the quality is very good. It is very quiet, which is good because I do not want to disturb my neighbors in the RV parks. I use it to air up my RV tires (QTY 4 - 80 psi), the airbag on my pinbox, the airbags on my truck and my truck tires (80 psi). This works very well for what I use it for. Since it only uses 4 amps it does not load my RV generator much and since it is lightweight it is great to have onboard my RV. Ive have tried the cheap 12 VDC compressors for this RV application and I wasted my money.

> 3 dayI like the concept and the stellar reviews, mine worked for 2 days and then developed a terrible noise at the end of the pump cycle in the motor fan area. I have requested a refund and will return it. I am very disappointed with this purchase. UPDATE: I could not decide on any other brand or model besides this compressor so I thought I would try to fix this one before boxing it up for the return. I knew where the noise came from so I removed the 3 screws that hold the motor end cap on where the fan is. With that off, I could see the plastic fan had slipped on the motor shaft and was scrapping against the cover. I pushed the fan in on the shaft to where I thought it should be. With a small wrench and screw driver I tightened the 2 screws. There is a plastic tab that wont let you over-tighten it. Put it back together and no noise. Seems to be working fine now.

> 3 daySweet little air compressor. This is perfect for doing trim and assembly work, airing up tires, using as a blower, basically 90% of what you will ever need if you are not a professional contractor or mechanic. This will not drive a framing nailer for an entire building, but it WILL drive a framing nailer if you only need it for a couple shots at a time. Basically, for home use this is good enough for almost everything and it has a lot of big advantages over larger compressors in that its WAY lighter, easier to carry, and super quiet. It is the kind of thing that is very easy to take out to the driveway to air up your tires, or bring into your office to blow out your computer case, or any number of other similar small jobs you would not want to do with a large compressor. It will still do just about everything as long as you arent in a hurry. So if you are a hobby/home user and you are sure you wont need to do any very large jobs, or you can borrow a big one for those jobs, this thing is awesome for everything else. Fit and finish looks very nice, does not feel cheap. Overall very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayIt is well built, reasonably priced, arrived on time and fairly quiet. For me, I had one specific need and unfortunately it did not work as I had hoped. The reviews led me to believe it could keep up with being used at a low psi output, say 30-50 pounds, enough to feed small nails. I was planning on it being able to go to full capacity 125 psi, spray air at a poundage of 30-50 psi for about 15 seconds, stop spraying and let it build up for 15 seconds, spray some, stop and repeat. The volume of air is only 1 gallon, which I understand, but it takes over a minute to get back to poundage where I could spray 30-50 psi for even a few seconds. The end result for me is that it takes too long to build back up enough pressure to use again as I had planned. Ill keep it because it is well made, lightweight and I might can use it in emergencies where only a very small amount of air is needed at a high psi. Probably would work great for small hobby jobs or non-repetitive type work.

> 3 dayGreat for small nails and staples. Easy to carry around, more punch than I thought possible for 2 nails into harder woods like oak.

> 3 dayGreat portable and light compressor for small jobs. I use it mostly with 15 and 18 gauge nailers, filling tires and with a blowgun for cleaning and it works fine. It is too small to run a cut off tool and I wouldn’t use it with a framing nailer either. For those complaining about quality, I have been using mine for 11 years now and it is still running strong!

> 3 dayGreat for small jobs, trim work, and when you dont want to lug a big compressor around. Suitable for baseboard and casing installation too. The only weakness Ive found is that the check valve failed within two years. Its a $16 part so not a huge deal but I have other compressors that have been cranking for 10 years without any repair parts needed. Its so small and light. Love it despite the necessary repair.

> 3 dayHad this exact model for 17 years and it just decided to stop, so I bought one exactly like it. Hope I get 17 years out of it and I use it about every weekend

> 3 dayIm a general contractor specializing in finish carpentry and cabinetry. I love this compressor. In fact, I just purchased my third. I suppose I use it harder than it should be used, so Ive burned through a couple of them. But thats over a nine year period. So no. It wont last forever if you use it hard, but it will do the job for several years. And at the price it sells for, its no big deal replacing a dead one. It easily runs a finish nailer or a brad nailer. The turnover time is only okay, and depending on the nail gun I use, I can only get so many shots off before it needs to refill. With a brad nailer I can usually keep shooting while it refills. But look. There is a tradeoff with this puppy. Its light. Really light. Compared to my Emglo, the compressor I used to lug around, its like night and day. (I keep the Emglo in my shop now, most of the time.) Its also quiet. It just hums, really. It also doesnt pull the amps that my Emglo pulls, so I can use it on a long extension cord if I need to. I just have nothing bad to say about this little Senco. There is one important thing to remember, however. Empty the tank when you are finished using it. The only troubles I have had with this compressor have been caused by rust from the tank. So let out the air and the water that condensates on the inside of the tank after each use. Do that and this compressor should last you for years.
