I love this fabric!!! I’m yet to use it, but it’s perfect. The gold might have a more rosey look to it but I love it!

I used this fabric for an extended period of time; as a matter of fact, this product supplied a year-long startup that I had an executive position in. This sequin fabric proved to have wildly different textures between the different colors available. For example, the blue/gold and the rainbow/silver colors were easy to flip, but disturbed other sequins and would thus be difficult to sculpt a picture and might not look wildly familiar, but would make a quality fidget pillow. The mermaid green and black fabric, however, is difficult to flip and holds its position well. For a fidgeting, Id totally recommend the cyan/purple- its a great middle ground. All of the fabrics are quality, but its important to note what youll be using it for: fidgeting, a halloween costume with a message on it, a cool shiny jacket? Just note: the producer IS NOT PERFECT. I have found 6 sequins strung together, sequins that have been punched through with a machine already, etc. The quality of this fabric is far superior to Joannes, fabric.com and any other sequin fabric I have seen. Just some things to note. :) You can identify if a sequin fabric is hard to flip if there is a strong border between both colors after flipping composed of sequins standing up: look at the demo photos for mermaid green verses the cyan purple around the border of the shape the person has sculpted by flipping the sequins. Highly recommend this fabric, especially for the price and quality. I looked all around for a mermaid fabric for my Halloween costume and this was perfect. Note that the sequins flip from side to side, versus up and down like a normal fabric. Plan extra, if in doubt. I thought this might be challenging to cut, but it ended up being easy. I did cut with a rotary blade on a self healing mat. The fabric was easy to sew and I even layered it with tons of other fabrics, as you can see in the picture, including a knit waistband. The only challenge was putting in an invisible zipper. Probably would have been much easier with a regular zipper, but I like invisible. I had to hand trip many sequins that were tight in the zipper. Once I freed the ones that were stuck, the zipper slid just fine & looked perfect. I highly recommend this fabric. The colors change from green to turquoise and purple. Black is on the flip side. Youll love this fabric! I cut this skirt from a double section.

I got this to create one of those large boards for kids, basically to paint/self soothe. Its definitely a good enough fabric. We swoosh it almost daily and it continues being 99% intact. My 1% complaint is that it does very slowly shed a sequin here and there, and that the more we use it the more occasional sequins get stuck against grain. Ive never played with any other reversible sequin fabric so dont know if a higher quality exists. Maybe such is just the nature of flippable sequins.

Love this material. I made a wall hanging for my office (I am a school social worker) so students can mess with it and I already have lots of staff who are loving it as well!

Shipping and packaging were great, but the quality of the fabric is somewhat lacking. I have used mermaid fabric before, and not anything super fancy, but Joanns mermaid fabric is a much better quality than this. Everything about this is a few steps down from Joanns quality(which is not saying much to begin with) the sequins feels thinner, the backing fabric is very cheap feeling and there are FEWER sequins. You can see where some of the sequins are attached, versus being covered by the sequin above it that would create a nice flowing fabric. It doesnt have the weight, therefore drape, of Joanns mermaid fabric. Its good enough for what Im using it for, kids stuff, but I would not use it for anything nicer than novelty.

This fabric is gorgeous! Thick and richly colored- most fantastic colors, that brought oohs and aahs from everyone when I revealed it from its packaging. And what a seller. If all Amazon sellers were as prompt as this seller is, ‘waiting’ on your order would be a thing of the past. There are a small number that are the same: they ship immediately with a rapid carrier. Your parcel is there well before you expect to receive it.
