> 24 hourI gave it 4 stars because of the battery life, which is expected from a cordless vacuum and I wanted to continue non stop, that is why. It has good suction power. Great for quick cleanups for deep cleaning plan one task or room at at time since it takes up to 3 hours to recharge. Of course you will clean faster and cover more since you would not have to worry about the limitations of the electric cord. I bought mine used very good and noticed two small dents on the stick, so be careful when going under furniture, the stick is made of some type of soft aluminum and can get dented. Other than that, I will recommend!

> 24 hourI wish I would have bought this sooner!! With 2 toddlers and a big dog that sheds like crazy this thing keeps me sane. I can easily pull it out and vacuum everyday or multiple times a day. Which I hated doing before with a big heavy corded vacuum. My daughter even loves that i can take the middle piece out and it becomes a mini vacuum that actually works for her. I was worried when I seen that it didn’t come with a base or something to hold it while it charges but it actually breaks down and stores very easily. I can vacuum my whole downstairs so quickly. And it makes vacuuming my stairs 10x easier! I just love this thing so much!

> 24 hourNot up to par with other Shark I have. Very lacking as a cordless especially with regard to Dyson V7. Returned.

> 24 hourI used to have a Dyson but wanted to avoid paying the cost for a new Dyson. I gave this vacuum a try, but I was not as happy with it as I had hoped. Its just ok for light jobs, but not enough to really vacuum for pet hair. I used on sofa and floors. It is okay for a quick job but not overly satisfied with the performance.

> 24 hourI bought this for my wife for Christmas. We have bought from Shark before and love them. I read the reviews prior to purchase. The vacuum does a good job but in order to get full suction power. You have to hold up a button the entire time. Now by doing this it shortens the battery life, plus you have one tired finger. There is not wall mount for this unit. To store it you have to detach the vaccum head from the poll and hang it from a hook at the bottom of the unit. If not it will not stand up on its own. It does recharge fast, thats a good point. Unfortunately there are more downside then upside with this vacuum. I would not recommend nor would buy this unit again. I will buy a different Shark vacuum in the future. Ill just do my research better next time.

> 24 hourI had high hopes for this based on reviews, however my experience hasn’t been what I expected. I’ve had the vacuum about 3 weeks now. First, it clogs so easy. I have wool rugs and two small dogs, so I know I can have a bit more to clean up. Which is why I wanted something that I didn’t have to use a cord with. But I can only run about 5 - 10 minutes before I have to clean out. The canister won’t be full, but the narrow tube will just plug. And it’s only about a 2” section it all gets hung up on. So I need to take apart, get the plug out and start all over. Bare floors & general clean up are absolutely fine. But if you have carpets & pets I would consider a different option. I gave 3 stars because it’s a 4 star bare floor, and a 2 star carpets.

> 24 hourWe have a much older Shark, where the canister is actually in the head. This was used on a daily basis for our hardwood floors and on the minimal carpet that is in the house. The battery is giving out so we decided to get a cordless Rocket Lift Away. The vacuum is quiet and has excellent suction power. It is actually pretty cool to see how much cat hair, dust, dander. etc. is picked up everyday. Even though we have an air purifier, it is good to know this debris gets contained and does not get a chance to be inhaled. Super easy to use, empty and clean. The only slight bummer is that the the new head is about 2.5 smaller than our older one. Not a big deal as the new one does such a better job. I took a photo to show size difference. I recommend this smaller, but very practical vacuum.

> 24 hourI have one of those robot vacuums. However there are times when I dont want to run it for a smaller area they may have had a spill or dirt thats tracked in. Also the robot vacuum doesnt get every where due to furniture placement etc. We also have 3 cats who love to kick their kitty litter out of the box :/. Lastly I was looking for a cordless hand held unit for car cleanup. This tackles all these items like a champ. The attachments are versatile enough to allow convenient cleaning. The only thing you should be aware of is that in the cases Ive listed the battery life has been plenty, but you wont be doing a whole house in one go. The unit has great suction, so the battery life might be a trade off in this case.

> 24 hourWorks great picking up pet hair from my constantly shedding dog but unfortunately the wheels are caked up in pet hair that I can’t get out which causes it to not roll smoothly.
