    This is my first DSO and after A LOT of research I settled on this model. Price is great for the features you get! But, it was quite an investment for a hobbyist like myself... I am in now way disappointed with the money I spent. This is worth every penny more that it cost me over the cheaper options.... the super phosphor display looks great. I have very bright lights on my workbench an I can still see this very clearly. It’s extremely easy to read even under very bright lighting. I am using this for cb/ham radio repair and tuning. I’ve only had this for a short time but I am very happy with it. The FFT feature is very cool for someone looking for a basic spectrum analyzer. The online .pdf user manual is pretty easy to understand as well.

    Did a bit of research prior to ordering this scope and concluded that it was one of the best in performance and features available for the price! After receiving it I am pleased to say that it has lived up to my expectations. Very pleased with it so far. One slight issue is that I would have prefered that it had a manual power switch rather then the soft touch, blinking while Off switch. The blinking is somewhat annoying. The product arrived in good shape and in just a few days...

    This scope can not obtain a signal. Very slow. Screen will not show signals. Only displays “Acquiring” on screen. Spend your money elsewhere.

The system noise is also lower than similar products in the industry. It has a minimum vertical input range of 500 UV/Div, an innovative digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter, and a waveform capture rate of 400, 000 frames/sec (sequence mode). it also employs a 256-level intensity Grading display function and a color temperature display mode not found in other models in this Class. Siglent’s new oscilloscopes offering supports multiple powerful triggering modes including serial bus triggering. Decoding is standard configuration including IIC, SPI, UART, can, LIN. History waveform recording and sequential triggering enable extended waveform recording and analysis. Another powerful addition is the new 1M points FFT math function that gives the sds1000x-e very high frequency resolution when observing signal Spectra. The new design also includes a hardware co-processor that delivers measurements quickly and accurately. The features and high performance of the sds1000x-e Series cannot be matched else anywhere at this price.
