Before purchasing I asked the question do these bulbs get warm/hot after use. Several people answered no. So I purchased. For those of you who have the same question, I purchased mine for use in a Captain’s Lamp. Within 40 minutes they were almost too warm to unscrew. Just to be clear I’m not a wimp, as a matter of fact I love a very hot bath every night. But I definitely wouldn’t buy these if you want to keep them on for extended periods and not worry. If you don’t worry about it they are really neat looking bulbs.

What can I say? They are light bulbs that light up. They coulda been cheaper I guess, but they are fine.

I spent months trying to find a bulb in this style that isn’t orange. This is it. It doesn’t flicker but I still like it. It’s also very bright, so not a nightlight unless it’s a huge room.

These bulbs are not easy to find so I was thrilled when I found them. They are working great.

Dont know about longevity yet but I love the appearance.
