> 24 hourAlthough I have a messenger bag and backpack, there are occasions when a bag just big enough to carry a journal, sketchbook and with pockets to organize pens and other small misc. items is needed. My journals/sketchbooks are roughly the size of a composition notebook (CN) (7.5 x 9.75 in.), so the measurements in the description (8.7 x 11 in.) seemed to make it the right choice. I liked the zippers closing the pockets and main compartment for more security.

> 24 hourI have an iPad Pro 10.5 with a case and it barely fits in the bag. There’s less than an inch left of space but you could probably store 2 books with the iPad in there plus other stuff in the various pockets. It has a large deep rear pocket and a small pocket in the front flap. Under the flap, there’s decent space for some other books, pens, etc. the material is nice and soft so I hope it’ll last. Also there’s a big brown logo on the front but if you don’t mind that then it’s a useful bag.
