I received a replacement and it is working flawlessly. I would give it 5 stars, but online support is a joke, email support is slow. I think this is awesome technology that could stand some development. This could be great if they invest in the software. I now own 6 yolink devices and plan to add more in the future This is supposed to operate my led lights in a remote grow room. Most of the other YoLink products have worked fine, but this outdoor plug wont stay connected. Every morning I wake up to an alarm saying its offline. Ive tried all the tricks to get it to work and it wont. Am returning for replacement and my opinion of this product may change, but for now its 2 stars

The unit worked as advertised - it allowed remote activation of a ventilation fan. But it only worked once. It then just went dead. Yo Link has not responded to my inquiries.

I’ll start off by saying that I really like all of the Yolink products that I own I have a lot of temperature sensors and all work quite well, indoors and out. However, this product has a HUGE design flaw. It is an outdoor, weatherproof switch that doesn’t work with GFCI outlets. When plugged into a GFCI outlet, it trips the breaker as soon as the switch is turned on. All outdoor outlets are supposed to be GFCI for safety. Why would you design a product for outdoor use that doesn’t support outdoor rated outlets? I contacted support and they promptly replied that this is true and that the product doesn’t in fact support GFCI outlets. Great customer support, generally great products, but a total miss on product design on this item.

I was having trouble setting up an automation to turn on a driveway LED flood light using the Yolink Smart Outdoor Plug with motion sensor, so I called Yolink customer service. To my surprise, they answered in two rings and were ready to help me out. Kevin stepped me through the issue (I had made a mistake on set up) and I had it up and working minutes later!

Support answered quickly and John helped me get up and running with new hub, 4 motion sensors, and smart outdoor plug to trigger my 130 dbl alarm with different day schedules. Had many questions and John answered them all in a courteous manner. Still in testing phase but system seems it will be perfect for my needs to protect my business lot since we recently had 8 catalytic converters stolen off my work trucks. Many options and flexible devices. May take a support call or two to set up but so far highly recommend for the products but even more so for the support.

The yolink products have just enough wifi range to control several smart devices in my basement where others failed. Also like the power strip which gave me greater flexibility Highly recommend

I don’t think there is a easier pairing for smart devices than this. And I am confident there isn’t a smart device out there with this kind of range.

Requires their proprietary hub. Would be 5 stars if it would connect to any brand of LoRaWAN hub...

Ive been extremely happy with all my YoLink purchase until recently. I purchase a YoLink Garage Door Opener that did not performed as expected but I found a work around to using it so Im okay and happy with that purchase for now. For this item, I almost returned it immediately. The unit had some scratches on one side of the product and my first though was I received a used item. Since I needed this purchase, I decided to use it. The YoLink Smart Plug worked just fine on plug 1 for several on/off cycles but as soon as I tried to use both plugs together at the same time, neither plug powered, the green power light went off and the unit was dead. I am returning this item for a refund as opposed to a replacement. PJD From MN

The yolink products works great with Alexa (or I guess any other fancy name) but one thing that is missing is the dimmer feature. Can you please add it since its very helpful for reducing brightness of the outdoor lights.
