The reason I decided to try YoLink and their devices . 1) The price of the hub is very reasonable, unlike other smart hubs I have been looking at. 2) All the different smart devices that Yolink has. 3) After reading up on YoLink devices, the hub and devices are extremally easy to setup. Open the app, scan the bar code on the side of the device (in this case, the plug) and it is connect within seconds to the hub. Then a few seconds later I get notification that Alexa has found new smart device, without needing to open the Alexa app and scan for new devices. This is great, at least to me it is. Makes it much simpler. 4) YoLink had motions sensors that would works with Alexa and my other smart devices. 5) Everywhere I searched, included youtube, YoLink received very high rating. Now to the reason I decided to try (and now love) these YoLink smart plugs. The first Yolink plug: Up until lately I only used WiFi smart devices in my home. The drawback is that if you lose internet connect, NONE of your smart devices work. I purchased one of these plugs to test. Connected it to the YoLink hub, then using the app set it so that when the motion sensor in my garage or utility room sensed motion this plug would turn on a light in the utility room. This is because every time I lose internet, it is at night (and dumb me, have wifi smart switches in the utility room and garage), and I have to reset the ISP box. It works great, I walk out there and the light comes on, leave the area the plug turns off the light, with or without internet service. Great it works as everyone said it would and it was extremally easy to setup the automation via the app. The second plug purchased: I liked how the first one worked. The second one is connected to my ISP service box that needs to be reset at least once a week. (that is what my ISP keeps telling me to do when the internet goes down) I have this plug turn off the power to the IPS service box, around 4 am every morning and turn it back on ten minutes later, fully resetting it. Problem solved, no more fumbling around in the dark trying to reset my ISP service box. It works great because the hub, not the internet is controlling the smart devices. So, Yes, I highly recommend the Yolink smart plugs, hub and their other devices for the reasons stated above.

The YoLink system is very promising, although there is still work to be done relative to some of their competitors. I use(d) this Plug in conjunction with an indoor and outdoor sensor. The biggest issue with the Plug is that it spontaneously stopped working within a year. I dont know what precipitated it, but its kaput now. If there was a power surge, it didnt damage anything else in my home. That said, this plug was fairly useful while it worked. I live in Breaking Bad country, and it was great being able to use this plug, setting it to flick on (a radio and a light) within a few seconds of a would-be burglar stepping onto my porch (à la the outdoor sensor). Although Id like to limit this review to the Plug, it would be nice if the YoLink system could go into the Smart Cam market, although it might be beyond their abilities.

I first heard about YoLink products when I was shopping for a home security system that was I expensive yet effective. Thank goodness I found YoLink! After using their very easy to install products I decided to see what else they sold. Their smart plugs work great with the hub and it is so easy to set a schedule for the lights to turn on and off when I am away. I like the fact that there is a central hub... Ive used other brands smart plugs that dont require a hub; however, unfortunately newer wifi routers constantly change channels and frequencies, thereby cutting off the connection to the smart plugs, rendering them useless. I own four YoLink smart plugs as well as the siren alarm, door / window sensors, smart plug remote and motion sensor, and I am extremely happy with my purchases. I will gladly order from YoLink again and have recommended this company to my neighbors as well. Great integration, easy set up, inexpensive and, most importantly, effective! I look forward to seeing what other products YoLink has in store and would highly recommend this product..

This is a great and innovative product. YoLink has many other Smart products that also work great.

First, I rarely write any reviews. So, for me to be writing one means I found something I really like. Second, I love all of the Yolink products I have purchased. They just simple work and and they are easy to install, integrate and use. I havent had one issue with any of them which is unusual for most any electronic product these days. You can tell this company really thinks their products through from beginning to end and makes them so most anyone can set them up and use them. These plugs set up easily. I just scanned the QR code into the app and boom, its done. Installed, integrated and it just came right up and started working. That simple. For real. Then I just tapped on it, set up the schedule and I was done. Now my light comes on and off when its scheduled to. If Im home and for some reason I want to turn that plug on outside of the schedule, I just tap the red LED on the side and it comes on. No issues. I will be buying more. Thank you Yolink for making things that work right and software that works right and is easy to use.

I was cautious to order because there were not many reviews, but I am SO glad that I did. I cannot recommend the yolink products highly enough. They are incredibly easy to setup, and work flawlessly. Setup: The only issue I had during setup was the wifi did not want to connect. I connected the hub via ethernet to the router and it connected without issue. Once it was connected, I simply disconnected from the ethernet and moved it to the location I wanted the hub and it stayed connected to the wifi. Range: They arent kidding about the range on these products! Our chicken coop is over 400ft from our house, across hills/trees/brush and I have had zero issues with connection. Customer Service: I emailed customer service with a question and received an answer within the same day. Very quick, polite, and helpful. IFTTT Integration is very easy to use and works well, though I have found that I prefer the in-app automation since it there is no delay. I am using the yolink wifi plug to turn on/off a heat lamp for new chicks in the brooder based on an alert from the yolink temp/humidity sensor. If the temp gets too high, the plug turns the lamp off - if the temp gets too low, the plug turns the lamp on. Its working very well. I have had zero issues with the app and have found that it has all the functionality that I need.

I have a few of these, setup to turn the lights on and off, as well as a security application. They work exactly as advertised. No complaints here.

Works out of box Frequently has lost connection with google home and must be signaled twice to “hear “ the command The electronics are unreliable and often fail electronically within a short period of months. More than one has died and needed to be replaced. Disappointing durability

I have been enjoying Yolink smart home stuff for a few years. Every time I add a new item it is so easy. Once scanned, the items actually install themselves.
