Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

Ive been using this product for a while now. I find that when I use this product, I have to wear less foundation because it spreads it out more. I was a little nervous about buying this primer on Amazon, since there have been some complaints before, but am excited to report that its real and works as usual! Also way cheaper than the original price.

Since first using a primer I have been unable to go back, and this Smashbox Photo Finish primer is probably my favorite. I tried a sample and fell in love with the silky texture, totally not greasy, which provides a thin veil over the skin to make foundation glide on smoothly. It helps concealer not to crease under eyes during the day, and it makes foundation and blush appear much more even and almost air-brushed compared to not using it. I use a powder foundation applied with a kabuki brush, and it goes on much better with this primer than on bare skin. Some primers tend to feel greasy or take a while to set, but not Smashbox. I highly recommend it!

I like to mix up the products I use and try new things but I always find myself coming back to this primer, it’s smooths my skin and makes my foundation look poreless, it’s more in the prestige side but it’s worth the price

I was looking for something to help keep my make-up on my face and this product does the trick! It also smoothes out my skin as a primer should -- making my clinique foundation slide on easier and not stick to dry skin, etc. Its worth the price. Ive used it every day for over a month and it looks hardly used.

really makes foundation go on smoother and cover more. the foundation seems to last longer with this primer on first. i will def. buy again. it did not feel like it clogged up my skin either.

Lightweight and feels great om my skin.

I honestly wanted to love this stuff. Ive been seeing the product in my local Ulta for years, wanting so badly to try it on my terribly oily, poorly textured skin. Everyone seems to recommend it, said Id love it and it would change my make-up loving life forever. I put off purchasing it all these years because its so expensive...and I knew that even if I loved it, I cant see myself committing to pay that much on a regular basis every time it ran out. But, I finally broke down and purchased it on Amazon since I have Amazon Prime. And uh...yeah, I dont get it. I mean, sure, it makes my face FEEL good...but as far as the aesthetics of it...its just not there for me. It doesnt keep my make-up on any longer than any other primer...in fact, I dont think this keeps it on nearly as long as E.L.Fs $5 primer for me. It doesnt mask my pores any more than anything else either. So, for the price, theres no way I can give this any more than just 3 stars. Sorry, make-up fanatics...its not for everyone after all.

great base for makeup

I like this primer very much. Some say its watery therefore fake. I will admit, it came out kind of watery the first 2 times I used it but after that it had come out as thick as other Smashbox primers that I have purchase at sticks & brick stores. I do not think the product I bought was fake. Update: Bought this product again (through Amazon, same seller) & have decreased rating from 4 stars to 2, as this time I do question if this is a fake product. Each time I try to use this primer, when I start putting foundation over the primer I start getting little tiny pills (balls) all over my face. Yuk! It is not that I am using too much primer as I have tried washing my face, starting all over again, using a different Smashbox primer & I do not have these issues. Its either a fake or a batch issue. Probably should have changed it to 1 star, but as I have used Smashbox primers for years and never had this issue, it is possible ,as previous tube seemed okay, that it may be a batch issue and not an issue of it being a fake product..
