Completely ridiculous, the cat loves it, planning to buy another.

I was really surprised by the quality of this cardboard kitty house. The colors are nice and saturated, the cardboard thick and sturdy, the walls have thick plastic snap-like connectors instead of simply relying on adhesive tape that wears down. One of my favorite things about it? That it is an actually adult-sized cat house and not something super tiny meant for kittens - as I find most of the cuter cat houses often are. My 12lb girl has plenty of room, and the opening is large enough. If her 6lb little brother was well behaved enough to cuddle they would fit together if they wanted. Since my little boy is a brat and there is only one large entrance I may cut an opening into the other side as well, so his big sis can escape his shenanigans. Just remember to snip the long tails off your zip ties. If your kitty likes to chew on plastic they are easy enough for the cat to chew through, and you dont want them to swallow anything that could cause an issue. Better safe than sorry :)

The scratch pad is the primary reason I decided to purchase this. I like to buy silly things for my cats on a fairly regular basis, but over time, I have gradually learned what they like and wont like. They are teaching me to think like them. Neither one of my cats are really into boxes that much. One prefers to sit on top of boxes, and the other will only sit in the box-trays that typically come with things like a case of cat food. The scratch pad was what made me pull the trigger, and that is precisely what is getting the attention. Interestingly, their favorite part of the structure is the plastic zip ties that hold part of it together. Also, my boy-cat Lucky had a great amount of fun stealing the pieces as I was putting it together, but I was onto him from the start knowing thats what hed do. Since its his toy, I let him do it. I just made sure to follow him so I didnt lose any pieces. That was half the fun. But after getting it assembled, I put it in my bedroom in a corner near my bed. Every night when I go to bed, the boy cat goes in there to knead his claws on the scratching post before hopping on the bed to go to sleep. He used to do that on my pillow. Thats a massive win.

I love the photo opportunities and my cat loves it. There are some manufacturing flaws, but not a dealbreaker. Definitely watch the assembly video they link on the written instructions that are useless. Video made it way easier.

We have bought so many cat scratch houses over the years all of our cats truly love them but we have one that lives in these. And this is hands-down one of the nicest most sturdy! An such a cute design and easy to put together! I’m a life long customer !

This is not cheap for a cardboard cat condo. However, it’s worth the price and shipping. The design on the cardboard is so clear, and it’s the cutest cat house ever I’m obsessed. It takes a little bit to get the hang of assembly - definitely watch the YouTube video!

My only qualm is that the end pieces that make the outdoor area are too short

I am filled with joy every time I look over and see my cat relaxing in the Japanese hot spring! My cats had their suspicions at first, but once they realized that this den of serenity was ment for them, someone is constantly using it. Buying it just for the photo opportunities is worth it alone!
