Let me start by saying that I did not order this blanket for a dog. I have a one and a half year-old daughter who is obsessed with dogs and the options available for cute blankets with dogs on them for kids were sorely lacking. I knew when ordering this item that it might not work as a blanket for a child, but ordered it anyway because I could not resist the perfect design. Cute little dogs with pink hearts? It was exactly what I was looking for, and so much better than everything else I looked at. So I took a chance and ordered it. This blanket is adorable and very soft, which is what I was hoping for when I ordered it and why I am giving it a 4 star review. However, I am a person who does not have time to hang dry or otherwise specially wash an item like a blanket. I need to be able to wash on a regular cycle and dry normally. This blanket had a strong chemical odor right out of the box and had to be washed before use. I did wash it on delicate cycle, but still dried it because its the middle of winter and I dont many other options. When it came out of the dryer there was lint all over it that would not come off. I was a bit disappointed with that. Im not sure how well it will tolerate repeated washings. Also, the blanket is an odd shape. It is rectangular, long and narrow like a towel. If youre only using it to cover furniture, I suppose thats fine, but obviously its a bit awkward for my daughter, and I imagine it might be awkward for larger dogs. Regardless of all of that, she absolutely loves it. Its become part of her special group of favorite things that she totes with her all over the house. If the blanket was ever offered in a larger, more human-friendly size and shape I would order it for her in a heartbeat.

Nice & soft perfect for a puppy or older dog. Just know that it is large. I didnt pay attention to the sizing. I wanted something kind of small that he could just lay on that would fit in his bed & that he could drag around if he wanted to. This was much too big for that. If your looking for something kind of large that will wrap your dog up in this is it.

My cat loves it. Going to buy another one. Thank you for wrapping it in plastic before you send it. Thank you for making sure they’re brand new. I bought two of them now and I love both of them. They are so soft and my cat loves them so much. It makes her feel comforted to snuggle in the soft feel.
