More portable and usable than a ruler or most measuring tapes for smaller projects. Wonderful for curves, bends, and other non-flat measurements. Simple, effective, sufficient. Ive used it when sizing clothes, furniture, and crafting parts for various projects. Like duct tape it just works well at what it does and doesnt try to do anything crazy that would get in the way of that solid core functionality. It is a small flexible measuring tape and does everything that implies.

Bought it so I could know my sizes in my weight loss journey so far I am loving it

Measured these flexible tapes against a Stanley 16 foot retractable and plastic 12 inch ruler. Cant use for anything longer than 12 inches. Still usable. Giving 4 stars overall instead of 3 because I dont need for longer measurements. pros - accurate from 1 to ~12 inches - fast, easy to use - flexible, small form factor - light cons - not accurate from 0 to 1 inches. off by about 1/8 inches - not accurate from 12 to 60 inches. at 60 inches off between 1/8 and 1/4 inches

Does the job, accurate, the numbers are written well, and it contours around the body comfortably.

My old sewing tape measure was confiscated by the cat and he wouldnt give it back. Fine. This new one is nicer anyway. They used to be a dollar in the old days, but this one is good quality and worth the money.
