SONY WH1000XM3 Bluetooth Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, Black WH-1000XM3/B (Renewed)

I was a little hesitant to buy these at first because it was refurbished, but you really cant tell it isnt used and comes in very good quality. The addition of a carrying case and aux cable in the packaging is very nice. As for the build, the headphones are quite sturdy and can be flexed quite a lot. The earcups are extremely soft and comfy, and dont put a lot of pressure on your ears. That being said, once noise cancelling is turned on it does take some getting used to as it applies pressure towards your ears. As long as youre recalibrating the noise cancelling for each environment youre in (easily done with one button) it does a fantastic job. The volume controls are good, except there are sometime accidental pause gestures detected. I would give the sound quality a 5 but unfortunately still doesnt compare to my open back studio headphones, which is understandable..

Im a freelance transcriptionist, so aside from listening to music, I really needed something with high quality noise cancelling so I can clearly hear conversations, individuals speaking, even minute sounds. After some research, I decided on these and I have been so impressed - these headphones and I have been pretty much inseparable since the day they arrived.

This is an amazing set of headphones. They can really block out the world and let you focus on the music. The sound quality is only bested by high end audiophile headphone 5x the price. I would highly recommend these!

I bought the international version, so when I went to set them up I believe they were speaking Mandarin. You can easily change the langue with the app Sony suggest to download.
