Finally fixed the inconsistent LB and RB buttons plaguing my Elite 2 the last 2+ years. Instructional video walks you through every step of way including the reassembly, which most others never show. If you have a solder kit and even no solder experience you should do this. Why spend another $130-$180 on another controller or have Microsoft replace the controller until the warranty runs out for the same thing to happen over and over again? Get this kit and fix it once and for all. Comes with 10 switches to fix up to 5 controllers.

Just put these into my Xbox Elite series 2. Had a problem with rb not responding all the time. Changed it out also did lb just to cover my bases. My controller works like new. Hopefully these hold up. If not will update.

The nice thing is that it comes with almost everything you need, the bad thing is that this is not made for an elite series 2. I took the controller apart and their piece is soldered onto the board and unless you know how to undo that and re-solder, this is useless. Luckily it was cheap but the video also didnt really show you how to install this. These are made more for someone who has experience replacing board pieces, not for beginners or those looking for a plug and play replacement.

Switches themselves work fine and are as advertised. My issue is with whoever does packaging on these things for Soss. The box was sealed, but when I opened it the metal pry tool was not there. They even have a space in the plastic where it should have been. That was part of the deciding factor for me between this kit and another companys. If youre looking for new switches, theyll work, but what you components of the kit you actually get may be a surprise.

Like many others, I had issues with the bumpers on my Elite Series 2 controller. The processed of soldering these in seemed a little daunting at first but ended up being super easy. Fixed my issue completely.

With the YouTube video and recommended tools, install was pretty simple. Controller works great now. Beats getting a refurbed one from Microsoft in place of my brand new one.

Installed these July 2021 to replace a RB that had failed and only registered hard pressed. Now the same RB is losing its tactile feedback (getting mooshy) just a few months of moderate use. So it seems these are an inexpensive but cheap replacement and I will be searching for higher quality

I now have a 100% functional controller. I did have an electronics rework station available so that helped.

My right bumper on my Elite 2 controller started only responding 75% of the time and dads good at fixing things. He took the controller apart and sautered one of these new switches in. Worked like a charm.
