Its a carbide bit. Nothing magic, but good quality and a price that makes it easy to stock up on frequently used sizes.

Great end mill for the money. Only used on aluminum, dont know how it will work on steel.

Great endmills. One 5/16 has milled the outside all of these in 304 stainless and still running.
