Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for iPad Mini 5 Case (2019) - Black

Nobody other than Spigen can produce cases that are perfect for devices. Always a Spigen customer and will be. Since the day I got my new iPad mini, I was searching on Spigen website and across amazon for a case without that screen cover. I just want something that encloses the devices and offers some grip+protection. This cases does the job perfectly. The holes for camera, mics, charging and speakers are properly cut. The black case is simple and not flashy. Love the simple carbon fiber touch on the vertical edges. It adds decent amount of weight to the mini and I love it.

Spigen cases and products are top notch. I haven’t had an issue with one of their products for the last 5 years of purchasing them.

I’ve been using Spigen products for years and they’re great for the value. I’ve already had 2 small drops under 3 feet onto the floor and the cases has done a great job.

I just purchased the case for the mini 2 and understand the lifting issue with a screen protector. But in my case it is probably a user error. I put on the screen protector FIRST and then put on the case. I think putting on the case first and THEN the screen protector can fix this issue.

$14, does not feel cheap and protect my iPad Mini 5 perfectly.

This just cant compete with off-brand silicone cases for half the price. I compared this side-by-side with those. Personally, I dont like how you can feel the apple logo on the other side. When the tablet is cold, you can feel room-temperature on the case and then suddenly you place your finger on bare aluminum which is a bit jarring. I doubt most people will have that issue. It also doesnt work well with glass screen protectors (though many cases dont). My recommendation is to order this alongside other cases and try each one to see which work with your screen protector.

The case itself is great but it slightly overlaps the iPad edge that it un-glues the corners of the glass screen protector.

This case arrived quickly and was exactly what I expected. Great !!

It’s very snug and thin, it’s hard to keep a tempered glass screen protector with it. I don’t mind if it pops out a little but perhaps adjust it a tab bit so that you can combine both for maximum protection
