> 3 dayFirst met these when I was in the military. Been using them since 2002. Theyre great, unlike a needle for digging out splinters because they cant accidentally go in too deep. Theyre also handy to carry one in your wallet, car, boat, or camping kits. Great survival kit add on.

> 3 dayThis works great. I bought the 5 pack thinking well I am not going to order just one since I have to throw it away after use. Keep in mind each of these cases hold 20 of the splinter outs. I missed this so my 5 pack order is 100 of them. Well I dont get that many slivers but hey, I will keep a kit in the camper, one in the house. Gave my parents and in-laws one each and gave one to a co-worker who does a lot of outdoor activities. I had a thorn that was driven almost straight into the pad of my index finger. I couldnt pull it out and it would just keep working in deeper and deeper since it wasnt at much of an angle. After being in there for almost 2 weeks I was fed up and ordered this. I first used it to open up the area a bit and tried the needle point tweezers again. Still couldnt grab it. So I went back to the Splinter Out and was able to pop it out with little to no pain. Very impressed.

> 3 dayI bought these almost a year ago after a huge debacle trying to get a splinter out of my older son’s foot the old fashioned way. It’s not a bad thing that they’ve been sitting untouched. However, today brought the moment that my 2 year old ran up, crying and holding his pointer finger out to me with no visible boo boo. Upon further inspection, there it was: a splinter. I was secretly excited to finally open up one of the packages and see what it looked like, but I was worried about how my 2 year old would react. After a few investigative pokes, I needed to bribe him with a Fruit By the Foot to hold in one hand and told him I would open it if he let me get the splinter out of the other hand. There was some trial and error on my part with it being my first time to use one of these, but I am shocked at how smoothly (all things considered) removal went. Very glad I had these on hand and have now vowed to ALWAYS have some on hand! Highly recommend these!
