GOT THESE AND THEY ARE VERY WELL CRAFTED. USED OTHERS BUT WHEN IT COMES TO USING A NAME BRAND (STANLEY) THEY HAVE A REPUTATION FOR A VERY GOOD REASON

Good and strong

I bought this set to replace the set I got from my dad 35 years ago- of which two have been lost over the years. It is the same high quality, and the same look and feel. I realize nail set technology is not rocket science, but it is nice to know they are still making these to last.

So far, so good. Work exactly like theyre supposed to. Seem to be made solid as well.

Photo shows item made in USA, item shows up indicating it is made in China. Maybe this doesnt matter to you- it does to me, though. I didnt see the other review from 2017 that says the exact same thing and asks Stanley Black and Decker to update.

I needed a strong set of nail setters since my last one broke. After searching on Home Depots website and Amazon, I stumbled on these. When they arrived I tried them on a few nails that needed to be set deeper in some stairs. These did not disappoint, they are strong and durable. I was surprised that they worked so well. After several blows with a hammer the paint has not chipped. This is a product that I highly recommend.

Package came a little dirty/rusty, but they cleaned up all of the 18ga nails in the pencil trim I was putting on. Works great.

They do the job and will last me forever. Great price too.
