We have had this copper wind sculpture for a season now and it has lost its coppery sheen but that is really what I wanted as our yard is unfenced and I dont want to advertise that we have copper out so handy. If ever I wanted to shine it, there is a little trick using salt and vinegar that will get it gleaming again. Performance wise... this is a fine piece of engineering. It will spin at the slightest breeze. The body of the frame is substantial as are the brass retaining caps. You get what you pay for in a positive way with this company.

These Wind Sculptures are some of the strongest and well make of any I have found. The Copper is all put together well and the base is strong and can hold up in a wind storm. So glad I made this purchase, even thinking of getting another. It shines when it spins and gets alot of attention. Love it!

Top of the line product and we love it. It takes so little wind to make it spin you really wont believe it. The leaves on the trees can be still but you will see a little movement in the blades. This unit is very well made and we would buy it all over again.

We are very happy with the Kinetic Sculpture. It spins in a very light wind, it looks cool in our garden, it was simple to assemble and install. We have only had it for several months, so this is a short term review. It does look well made. BTW we are not coating it to keep it shiny, we prefer a more tarnished muted look. New, it was too flashy especially in a bright sun.

We bought this wind sculpture for a home on the northern California coast. We lacquer sprayed before putting up but it has discolored in 15 months. The ocean winds also bent the stand and we had to replace the central pole and add side supports. Despite all that it is still a lovely windmill.

Just purchased our second sculpture from Stanwood and we are totally pleased. Its easy to assemble and we love the mesmerizing effect they create in our gardens. I highly recommend this product and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

I have been looking at these windmills for over a year - wanted one bad but couldnt see paying that much so after knowing I didnt owe taxes this year I ordered one. Amazon with free shipping was as cheap as I could find after really doing some shopping around. It is balanced and really well made and designed. Slightest breeze and it will turn. The reflection off of it flashes through the window and I just love it and to know it will look and turn the same for years and years makes me smile. Hun said its pretty but you paid how much? I just mumbled and smiled

My husband has gotten this set up, finally. Seemed like forever to me. I really like it. I ordered two different ones. These remind me of the wind sculptures in the movie Twister. The slightest breeze gets it moving. They are so well made. Others I have tried over the years have fallen apart or fallen over, never to be used again. I will be ordering more from this place next summer.

For sale is ONE kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of Double Windmills. The blades are positioned so the dual spinners will spin in opposite directions once caught in the wind. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The only metal is the stainless steel ball bearings that are completely covered by brass hardware. Two ball bearings make the two windmill wheels move independently and opposite from each other. A third bearing makes the kinetic sculpture swivels 360 degrees in the wind. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction and swiveling head, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph. The copper blades are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum and Permalac (Peacock Labs). The craftsmanship on this kinetic sculpture is impeccable. The windmill wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weather proof and made to last for decades.
