STREAMLIGHT 75612 Flashlight

My wife and kids got me this for Christmas. Yes...it was on my list. The wife was floored when she saw the price. They have bought me many flashlights over the years. Many were cheap and didnt last long; bulbs broke when dropped, internal connections failed or didnt make contact until you smacked the flashlight against your hand, the light output would fluctuate, etc, etc. In addition my son has a habit of playing with the flashlights. Hes either exploring or playing light sabers or whatever so not only was it difficult to find a flashlight when needed but they were always dead or had just enough battery power to make me think they worked only to die two minutes later. VERY frustrating!!! Then, of course, I never had enough new batteries or had to hunt for them... Yes...this is a serious investment for a flashlight but ask any person who has one if they regretted spending the money for it and I bet you will not find a single person. These are small, maybe slightly longer than the average 2D-cell flashlight - yes the $6 one you have in your kitchen drawer. But its more powerful then my 6D-cell Maglight. You can hold down the on button and the light output will step down so its not so bright. I thought this was a gimmick but installing speakers in my truck this weekend proved it was not as at full power the reflection off surrounding surfaces was too bright. Reducing the output made it perfect!!! Plus, this has the backup battery always charging. I love it so much I have already asked for a 2nd one for my birthday in February!! One for the house, one for my truck. Then when camping season starts - yep, I will add another for the trailer!! EDIT (follow-up): I still consider this one of the best purchases Ive ever made! Hard to believe someone could get so geeked about a flashlight but I love (both of) mine (see comments)!!

Wife loves it. I’ve been using high dollar flashlights forever. When my wife got a night job at a children’s home I bought her a professional flashlight. She deserves it.

Great product great service

Im a mechanic. Ive seen all the other techs have one. Well they paid well over $200 for these flashlights. Ive been using theirs for a few months and love it. So here I saw them on amazon for half of what the tool guys are charging. I just ordered one and it came in 3 days. So happy I got one myself now and not gonna use other techs flashlight. Love it and great price.

Bought mine from JB Tools and i love it. Came with 2 batteries, piggy back wall mountable charging station that can go in the cars lighter charger or a standard wall charger, and the light. Even came with a cap to put on the second battery to prevent shorts! I am completely satisfied with this qaulity light and it can do anything from blind a bad guy to light up a culdesac and anything in between.

There’s only one button on the side to turn it on, and not on the end of the flashlight, which for me works better. Having an extra battery was the best part because on average each battery last 1 hour it kept on for that long.

This is a great flashlight. Its super bright. Long range. Has high, medium, low, & strobe. Vehicle and home adapter cords for the charger. With extra battery. And its great you can charge the flashlight and the extra battery at the same time in one charger. I carry this flashlight on duty in a law enforcement job and its never let me down. Ive had it for a long time now. Ive dropped it on blacktop 15 times. Its a really good light. Ive owned hundreds of flashlights and this is one of the best. Comes with a cap to protect the positive and negative contacts on your spare battery. Because both contacts are on the same end of the battery. And you do not want a short while its in your pocket if the contacts both touched something metallic. So absolutely use the protection cap. The cap is tight. And it should be. Cause you do not want it to come off. This is a great value. High performance. And Im very satisfied with this purchase. And Id definitely recommend this flashlight.
