My girls (5 and 3 years old) have various girly toys like purses, bracelets, and so many others where the decorations with beads are often done with some sort of strings. We had a hello kitty purse in which the handle was made from a string of large beads, my girls keep packing stuff into the purse (I swear the purse is like over 5 lbs, not sure how they carry it around). They swing the purse around and the original string broke. I replaced with this string and they have packed even more stuff and swingeing it even more and the string has held up very well!!! It is very strong string. I do like other peoples tip to use hot glue for the ends.

This string wouldnt be ideal for professional jewelry makers, but its perfect for childrens beading. This particular roll features a clear color which the kids seemed to be a huge fan of- as it turned invisible once the beads where on it. We used pony beads, small seedbeads would be too small for this string. But for seed beads it was perfect. Its firm enough for kids to easily use. Its not flimsy so they can hold it still and easily put the beads on. The firmness is good- but it doesnt streth that much. It stretches enough for bracelets to fit over the hand and necklaces to fit over the head. But it will break if its pulled too hard. It doesnt tie very easily either, so if you are making childrens crafts you will be making a lot of the knots for them. I knotted each bracelet for times and pulled tightly each time just so the tie would stay. Its a bit hard to get it to not unravel itself, so you need to tie it tight- again without pulling so hard it breaks. Other than that though, this string is absolutely the easiest material for kids to work with. It fits through beads easily and stands firm when its heald upright- so the beads can easily slip on. Its clear and hides benith the beads easily. Overall, my kiddies got to make a bunch of lovely jewelry and this string was a great buy. When I run out, Ill be back for more. A few tips: Tape one side of the string onto a table, this will keep the beads from falling off. Then when the kids are finished untape the string and tie it. When you tie the string double knot it. Then tie it two more times, but pull the elastic and let it snap back and fourth a few times with each not. This will ensure it doesnt unravel and fall apart. Pony beads work great with this product and I highly reccommend the big bags of them. If you have a bunch of kids- like a camp like I do- this string is enough for I would say 100 kids to make 2 bracelets each. I had 20 over, each made 3 to 4 bracelets, and we only used half the string.

Great for making jewelry-to tie a knot in this stuff, look on Youtube and it will tell you to order E6000® Craft Adhesive, 2 oz which I ordered too and it works wonderfully!

Not sure why but the cardboard attached to the package had been cut off in so many places that you couldnt read the directions. There were actually partial directions for tying the string into a knot which seemed like something I wish I had. Not that I cant figure it out but...so I havent even used it yet and I am irritated. Ha Ha.

This is a thick rubber stretch magic cord. Too thick for my project.

I make bracelets for my small shop 1kkustomz and this is great. The stretch is strong but not very very stretch and and it is thick material. I also think they sent me an extra roll of string as a gift. I would purchase again!

I like the string it stretchy but it could be more stretchy The price is good came to my house on time Holds beads together very well Good for making kandi :)

I love this string, I make waist beads, and for mine they hold up nicely. I also make bracelets and I wear them at work. The string holds up better than some of the beads I use. I recommend it.
