Heater Wouldn’t light, replaced with this and fired right up. The old one had a lot of carbon build up on igniter ends. Probably could of just used some light sandpaper to clean the carbon off and re-installed but for the low price might as well just buy new and not mess with it.

This was the problem for my hot water tank. The previous one lasted for around 300 days of use. FYI-consider buying a new bracket that holds it in place. Mine was rusted and mounting screw stripped.

It fixed the problem with my hot water heater not lighting

Our water heater just quit without any warning, It would then just click as if it were trying to start, after a couple of tries it would shut down. I suspected it wasnt getting any spark, therefore it wouldnt release any gas. I got this electrode, replaced it in about 1 minute and then the water heater fired right up. Whoo Hooo.

I bought this to replace on a swd6e model. Fits perfect. I shouldve checked my board first because that was fried, but I installed this in 2 seconds so I decided to keep it. After replacing the board (recommend Dinosaur UIB), my water heater fired right up. So I probably didnt need this part, but it is working great for me.

works as expected...this is what our mobile rv repairmen told us we need to get our suburban water heater back up and running...and it did... have bought another one for a back-up...

Worked like a champ and were heating water with gas again!
