Sure-Grip Boardwalk Outdoor Wheels

Greater than one weekI bought these after 5 years of skating on indoor style wheels outside. I thought it was a sign of weakness to have different sets of roller skate wheels... so I skated rollerderby and street skated on the same basic 58mm 85a indoor wheels. Tonight i threw these bad boys on, and disvovered it is now a very comfortable ride, like having a spring in your step. Patchy asphalt and loose gravel are no longer a deal breaker. Kinda like a rally car 4x4 with offroad suspension after being used to highway roads. No longer feeling every grain of sand and vibration-- now it feels fun, and relaxing. Thank you.

> 3 dayI bought these so I could quad skate at the local parks and trails. Its nice to be able to roll over cracks and twigs without ending up on my face!

> 3 dayBought these for my nieces 14th birthday. I gave her a pair of Chaya skates, which were too big for my feet, but they fit her. They still had the awful hybrid wheels on them. She immediately complained about rolling over twigs and small pebbles outside, since thats where she rolls. I replaced her old wheels with these, and some Red Bones Bearings. She noticed the difference immediately! She skates every day outside, and has really enjoyed the smooth ride these wheels provide.

> 3 dayI originally ordered 82A 58mm for my outdoor skates. I found that I needed something a little softer( not sure the real terminology) so I came back to Amazon and ordered these wheels after reading alot of positive reviews for skating on asphalt, tennis courts and basketball courts. What a difference these wheels make! I dont even feel the pebbles and cracks as I did with the harder wheels. I wanted both indoor skates for rinks but also an outdoor pair. If you are new to skating as I am and want to feel more secure while skating over different terrains these are the wheels for you. I totally love these wheels.

> 3 dayThe stock wheels on my Boardwalks needed replacing, and I like these sooo much better. They are thicker and softer, and I roll over cracks outdoors with ease. I added qeube teal bearrings, and I’m faster now, too. Perfect combo.

> 3 dayI love boardwalk wheels the most. I have radars, sugar wheels, game, motion and atoms. Boardwalks are the superior wheel for bumps and cracks. Smooth sailing and excellent maneuverability. I clean them after every skate to keep up the red gleam

> 3 dayI previously had Radar Zens(85A hardness) for outdoor skating and didnt think it would be worth the money to upgrade as there was nothing wrong with them. Holy crap was I wrong! If youre skating outside on anything harder than these, please do your knees a favor and make the switch. I doubled my distance the first time I used these (from 3 miles to 6), and my joints hurt less than the shorter distances on harder wheels had. For those who care, Ive put a bit over two hundred miles on them and they still look pretty.
