First pocket level I ever paid over $5 for in 20 years of work only reason it didnt get all 5 stars

Great level i use it every day at work

The magnets on it are not that strong. Pretty terrible. Ive dropped it a few times from well place spots.

I got this Swanson lighted torpedo level but didnt have an chance to try it out until after the deadline for returns so being unable to return it was really my fault, that being said I do feel that a new supposedly high quality level should not be 3/4 of an inch off in 9 inches when measuring horizontal. It seems to be a very nice product other than that but a level that does not show level isnt much use. I suggest they may want to look a little closer at quality control.

Good high quality level. Heavy duty and will take abuse Im sure. The light feature is great. Using this in dimly lit or darker crawl spaces makes life a lot easier. Now I dont need to worry about trying to hold a flash light at the same time. Im surprised this hasnt caught on sooner it makes life so much easier.

I like it a lot. I just bought a second one. Makes it easier to run conduit.

Im an electrician, use this level everyday, I dont usually write reviews, but after dropping this level from the top of a 5 story elevator shaft, and didnt lose a magnet, the level is still perfectly true, all the vials perfectly in place, light still works flawlessly, and not much evidence of the fall other than a small dent in one end edge. IF this level ever fails, I wouldnt hesitate to get another one.
