I purchased two of these hangers to install in my attic. One for a boxing bag which was not a major concern but the chair I wanted to hang from the ceiling, I was nervous about. I didn’t want to sit in it and fall. But it worked amazing! Even held up my stepson who weighs about 200lbs. I’ve sat in the chair for hours with no problem.

Directions were small and provided some guidance, overall could be better. You need to make sure you have drill bits that are the same length as screws to make sure the screws can be tightened up against the hardware. I had to redo my drill holes because I didn’t drill deep enough the first time since my bit wasn’t long enough. Also you need a crank wrench to “screw” the screws into the wood. I luckily had one.

Easy to install and very sturdy.

Arrived fast. Safety packaged. Two hangers inside as well as instructions. Directions EASY to follow. Used it on a 4x4. Predrilled holes and used followed instructions. No split noted when tightening. Had my daughter on the swing chair within few minutes! Been few days. Seems sturdy thus far. It doesnt come with any tools so have those available.

I got these to hang a yoga hammock and these suckas are sturdy af. Feels very safe.

Not the quietest or the smoothest after about 20 min of use. Started out great, very smooth and very quiet. But with more and more use the louder and less smooth rotating it became. Was hoping this wouldnt happen but expected this since its just metal on metal with an adult swinging from it. Was hoping there was a hidden bushing or bearing that would support the load. IMO not worth it at all. I guess if you just wanted to swing back and forth its OK, but if you like to rotate its going to get harsh.
