In my closet I have most of my suit and sportcoats protected by good quality thick vinyl garment bags which came with the original garments (courtesy of Nordstrom). Since then whenever Ive found garment bags they tend to be super thin and cheap and tear easily. These garment bags that I just purchased from Amazon are AWESOME. Theyre a thick material. Seem to be a good quality and should last for years. I highly recommend these quality garment bags.

These are very great quality garment bags.

I was optimistic with these garment bags. Purchased to replace some older ones, however, after minimal use two have already ripped - both at the zipper seam and the top where the hanger pokes through - and I am not confident in the quality of the remaining bags. Will be ordering different bags that are hopefully of a much better quality.

Zipper fell off one of these bags within 6 months of buying them. I rarely ever move these things. The only travel Ive used one for was hanging it in the backseat of my car a single time. I would not suggest any more rigorous travel than that. I dont have great hope for the rest of them, and a bad zipper defeats the whole point of the product.
