Easy to install. Works great in my Synology NAS.

I already purchase one years ago for my DS220 and this one its just as flawless. Will run non stop for years. In addition, you ensure that warranty and support is available since its approved by Synology (of course)

Works flawlessly with the DS 720+. The cost is high for RAM but using another unapproved modul will cause problems. For example; shut downs, data lose, clicking HDDs. Outright system crashes and random freezing.

Worked as described in my DS220+. Nice to have the additional memory to run more VMs, containers, and full-text search. Went from the stock, soldered 2 GB to at total of 6 GB. I have a pair of 4 TB HDDs running in RAID 1 on this NAS.

The RAM chips that are actually soldered to the board are Samsung. Go with an 8GB stick of Samsung for compatibility and a lower cost. Get the M471A1K43CB1-CTD. Works great on my DS220+ and my DS720+. It tests out with Synology Assistant memory test, plus, theres no errors/nuisance warnings that youre not using a Synology branded stick of memory.
