> 3 dayFor the first time in my life I had a piece of checked airline baggage disappear forever. Inside the bag was a 12 year old Osprey Talon 22 that I had lovingly used and abused all over the U.S. and the world. It is the perfect daypack in my eyes - not too big and not too small. Its extraordinarily comfortable, holds weight well, and the moveable framesheet allows you to zero-in on the perfect fit. I didnt think twice about buying another, and unlike my old one, they now have those spiffy Osprey side mounted trekking pole holders. Very few things deserve a full five stars without any negatives. The Talon 22 is in that category.

> 3 dayLight backpack, holds a good amount of items. The only complaint is there is no ventilation space in the backplate. Very nice pack.

> 3 dayAnother great product from Osprey. Super comfortable with great padded shoulder straps and a harness that stays in place, but still is easy to remove and adjust. Great location for the bladder as it is easily accessible. Tons of storage, with solid zippers that open and close perfectly. Only complaint is not including the bladder for the suggested retail.

> 3 dayWe took a trip to 9 national parks a couple months ago, and used 4 different backpacks for a dozen or so hikes. These are the packs we used: this one (Osprey Talon 22), an Osprey Hikelite 18, a Gregory Swift 15, and a Mountainsmith Clear Creek 15.

> 3 dayGreat basic hiking backpack, incredibly well made, carries enough for a day hike and more. Also works good as a travel bag. Straps/Backing is comfortable, and lifetime guarantee with Osprey.

> 3 daySmall scale version of my Osprey Esos 58. Fits very similar and comfortable. Holds my 2L reservoir on outside at back. Great idea. Has the airspace between pack and back. You can feel the difference and I keep much cooler. Had all adjustments as the 58. Also has a helmet holder attachment. Definitely a good day/overnight pack, even for bike rides. Fits well on center of back.
