My kitten is in love with these plastic spring toys! I gave to my neighbor who has older cats and they enjoy them on occasion too. My older orange tabby not interested at all, but the kitten has not stopped loving this toy going on 3 months or so.

I think that if cats are in an encloser, that these springs might be more interesting to them. But when you let them roam free in your home, the cats just ignore them.
