Good old film. I liked it a lot.

Princess Bride is a timeless classic. We share it with others every chance we get. Comedy, satire, unforgettable lines.

What can I say but the BEST movie sword fight of all time? ROUS? If youre not a fan of and an owner of this movie, well, turn in your geek card now. Inconceivable!

If youve seen it, you get what Im saying. If not, you MUST watch this movie. I dont recommend watching just any movie. I consider my taste in movies to be somewhat enlightened and refined, and having watched as many and varied movies as I have, I have not seen a movie that has so much charm. It doesnt tackle the big questions in life, it doesnt challenge you in any way, but its a movie or every person, for every mood, with a little of everything in it, without it feeling manufactured or Disneyesque. Its like a hand knitted sweater made for you by a charished friend or family member, as opposed to one off a rack of identical sweaters. It makes me smile thinking of how many takes were ruined by Rob Reiner because he couldnt stop laughing, because that means it was made with a lot of passion. I could wax romantic on The Princess Bride forever, but the only way to know it is to see it.

Why this movie wasnt really big I will never know...yes its predictiable and yes its a fairytale but it is a wonderful story and well worth the money and time spent watchig the movie.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. My family watches this annually at New Years. My grand children have the entire script memorized! This is a true classic and never gets old.

i love this movie it is very funny, cute, and the iccasio al fight is great. Plus, the quality was good and it functioned properly.
