This has been and continues to be one of the best TV shows around. Intelligent, well written, and all-around entertaining.

Just a note about the packaging of the 4th season - it comes in a neat book-style package, with individual plastic pages holding each disc. I swear, all multi-disc DVDs should be packaged like this. Very neat, easy to open and close, makes it clear which disk is 1, 2, 3, etc. Flip to the next disc. Love it! The others (season 1-3 anyway) have the fold-out disc things that are kind of frustrating.

The fourth season definitely has some highlights - Josh and Toby are at their most Josh and Toby during the shut down, BUT it lacks the sparkle of the other seasons and some of the plots feel forced, or solutions are found too easily.

For true Sorkin fans, its okay to stop after this season.

If you dont know, this series is great but you will miss out on the last two episodes of Season Three because of a defective DVD. I returned it three times and still got the same result.

Well done

Cant get enough of this - then, Im a political junkie. This series views like historical fiction. Very contemporary for an older series.
