> 24 hourI purchased a couple of them to have on hand. I put them both in the same cup of water and tempted them. Both came back with the same reading. I like how it has a soft tip so you can bite it lightly and not hurt your teeth like some of the other ones.

> 24 hourThis thermometer seemed accurate, but it is difficult to read. It would be helpful if the screen was backlit. Also, the button is stiff and can be difficult to push down.

> 24 hourI have three different digital thermometers and just for fun, took my temperature with all three within minutes of each other. Got three different results, with a variance of 1.4 degrees. Not sure which one was accurate, but I suppose a ball-park guess is okay in most situations. These were all cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. Id recommend spending a little more to get an accurate reading.

> 24 hourThe button to press it so hard to do! When you are sick or have arthritis this is just ridiculous. AND there is NO light for the reading so when its dark you cant see the numbers. Most of the time when you are sick you dont have on bright lights in the room. I am just gonna use as a back up if I lose others.

> 24 hourI bought 2 thermometers, this one & a digital one to compare temperatures. This one, at least the one I have, does not beep. Cannot read the temperature LED part in the dark as there is no light on it so I need to have my cell phone or a flashlight to read it if I don’t want to turn a light on. This is your basic thermometer.
