Tianken 500G Hard Drive External HDD for Xbox 360, Gray

Thought this would be a steal at this price. Purchased the 500GB drive. Unfortunately after a few months it kept showing as unformatted, and even worse wouldn’t let me format it. Now can’t transfer any purchased games or game progress.

Seems to work perfectly & just what the kids needed, an upgrade on storage so they could have all their games & downloaded content on one drive. So far so good. Bought a transfer cable to go with it so we were able to safely transfer everything to the new hard drive flawlessly.

This device worked just long enough for me to transfer all of my data onto it before malfunctioning. After literally one use, each time I started the XBOX the console would restart after approximately 60 seconds, on an endless loop. I should have used my better judgement rather than take a chance on a generic product. Learn from my mistake and dont buy this HDD.

I bought a 320GB Harddrive to replace the 24GB one I had for a long time. It arrived on time and in perfect condition ready to use right away. Couldnt be happier.

Worked fine just not for my situation! Having this hard drive connected it would not allow me to play Original Xbox disc games that I owned, so this was not for me. But it was a killer value for the storage capacity if u r looking to play Xbox or 360 downloaded titles. I have an XB1 so did not need it.

My nephew was excited to get this for Christmas. Quick shipping.

So far drive works great. Needed the extra space for all those free games from XBL. Totally worth it.
