This expansion pack provides much larger cards than the original Ticket to Ride. They are easier to handle and to shuffle. Also, many more destination cards are available, which allows for all players to request destination cards during the game. We have spent many hours playing Ticket to Ride and the expansion pack is absolutely worth purchasing. We are in our 60s.

This is a MUST for anyone who plays Ticket to Ride. It just makes the game so much more fun AND you no longer have to deal with the cards that are made for elves...

thats exactly my sentiment when I opened up my the default ticket to ride train cards in the original game. it was too tiny for grubby fat hands so I have to purchase this enlarge expansion. Its the same train cards except with some more routes. But yeah the big boy version of this card is nice and it has the feel of a playing card too, so I appreciate that detail.

We bought the expansion pack largely because I hate shuffling the tiny cards that come with the regular edition, but the new destination tickets that come with the game are great! It really adds a new element to the game, weve never gone back since we added the new expansion. It comes exactly as described, larger cards, the colors are a bit better, the rainbow/wild cards are more distinct, and the destination tickets are more clear because of the new size. There are also three new ways to play the game, so if youre tired of the same old, this changes the game up a bit.

Its so much better to have to big cards to play with instead of the little ones that come with the game.

I purchased Ticket to Ride and the expansion pack at the same time. The cards are a lot nicer in the expansion pack since they are about double the size of the cards that come with the game. We have not explored the different ways of playing the game with the expansion pack yet, but overall Im happy that we purchased the expansion pack.

We are addicted to Ticket to Ride. You must get this if you are going to play often. Larger cards are the best!

The larger cards are a nice touch for the Ticket To Ride game. And the new rule options were nice - you dont want the game to get stale, which it will if you binge play it like we did. Supplement this with other Ticket To Ride expansions and you are going to be playing for months without burning out.

I love ticket to ride! It is a fantastically well balanced and well designed game. I consider this expansion essential for Ticket to Ride USA. It completes the game. Without it, it feels like you are playing a trial version. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is it should come with the game originally. Id be happy to pay the same price, but feel they should come together because, as I said, the game is not complete without this. If you own and like Ticket to Ride USA but dont have this yet I highly recommend it.
