This is definitely worth the small investment, and packs right into the original box, so no need to carry around multiple cases. The original cards are small and uncomfortable to manipulate. The expansion pack includes normal sized playing-style cards for wagons (currency) and tickets (routes). Also includes a new Globetrotter card and game mode that incentivizes grabbing extra route tickets - something people rarely do in the original game mode.

This is a must get if you have Ticket to Ride USA. It has many more destinations. It really expands the game and makes it more challenging. Plus the cards are regular size instead of the dinky cards that come with the USA version.

Ive not gotten the chance to yet play the expansion, as it was a gift for a friend, but it came packaged nicely and I like the potential of expanding the original game. Were not pros at the game, at all, but it is a fun game and this expansion is more affordable than diving into a second version of the game, even though I am intrigued with other maps.

Gave as a gift they love it

This expansion improves the base USA game immensely. One of my frustrations with the base game is that there are only a few big-point cards. If you happen to get a couple of them, youll win the game regardless of what what other player does. With this expansion there are more medium and high point cards which makes the game much more fair and enjoyable.

We love the extra competition and strategy involved with the expansion set. A whole new dimension to a game we love.

We have played Ticket to Ride for awhile. The core game is really fun. I have always enjoyed trying to build the longest railroad line. The addition of this expansion pack really changes the game play and gives you a whole new game. If you have Ticket to Ride and love the game get this expansion pack it is great fun.
