Love these sissors. They come with caps as they are very sharp and pointy. One thing to take note is that they are slightly serrated so they do leave a slight serrated edge on anything you cut.

I already had one pair of Tim Holtz scissors that I loved, but I had dulled them a little by using them all the time for mail and opening boxes. Thats not what they were intended for. Theyre great for cutting out intricate shapes in paper or cloth. They are SUPER sharp, all the way down to the tips. I love the covers; they protect the points and my fingers. I bought two sets of two so that I could keep them all around the house to use for crafts, cutting off clothing tags, and various tasks that require scissors. I keep one pair in my sewing box, too. I love that they have the covers now to protect them. On top of all that, they are the most comfortable scissors I have ever used. I highly recommend these scissors for intricate cutting purposes.

You may wonder, as I did, whether Tim Holtzs scissors are worth the price. They really are! I hesitated to buy them for a long while, and finally bought myself a set when I was buying a set as a gift for someone else. They are superb! They are very sharp and straight, and great for cutting intricate shapes and corners. They make fussy cutting fun.

I would like the seller to contact me...these were advertised as non stick however you can see the talk residue all over the blade. They were also pictured with maroon handles however these handles were black. Returning is a pain in the neck and I’m extremely disappointed.
